China Ready to Send Peacekeepers to Ukraine if Ceasefire is Achieved

🇰🇵💥 North Korea to send 30,000 troops to support Russia in Ukraine conflict. 🛡️

Kokcha News Agency: China has informed European Union diplomats that it is prepared to send peacekeeping forces to Ukraine under the UN umbrella if a ceasefire is achieved in the ongoing conflict. According to a report by the German newspaper

Welt*, citing EU sources, China’s proposal has received mixed reactions within the EU. Some diplomats argue that the involvement of non-Western countries could make the peacekeeping force more acceptable to Russia, while others express concerns that Beijing may not remain neutral and could lean closer to Moscow.

Meanwhile, approximately ten European countries, including Lithuania, Estonia, France, and the UK, have reportedly expressed readiness to send troops to Ukraine.

The United States, while refusing to deploy its own soldiers, has indicated it could offer other security guarantees.

Moscow, however, has strongly opposed the idea. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated on August 21 that the deployment of European troops to Ukraine would amount to “foreign military intervention” and is unacceptable.
