Kokcha News Agency: The Israeli military has conducted airstrikes using drones on several areas in southern Lebanon, including the city of Nabatieh, the hilly regions of Ali al-Tahir, and the rural areas of Kfar Tebnit. The intensity of the attacks reportedly caused nearby homes to shake.
In a statement, the Israeli army claimed that the strikes targeted infrastructure belonging to Hezbollah, alleging that military activities by the group were observed in the targeted areas. The town of Aita al-Shaab in Nabatieh was also hit, with the Israeli military claiming to have struck a house linked to Hezbollah.
Despite a ceasefire agreement that came into effect on November 27, 2024, the Israeli military has continued to carry out almost daily air and ground attacks on southern Lebanon. Since the ceasefire began, the Israeli army has committed over 4,300 violations, resulting in at least 245 deaths and 513 injuries.
Although the Israeli military has partially withdrawn from southern Lebanon, it continues to occupy five strategic hilltops captured during recent clashes.
