Taliban’s Silence on Pakistan’s Aggression: A Sign of Subservience, Not Strength
The Taliban’s reluctance to speak out against Pakistan’s repeated cross-border attacks is not without reason. Reports suggest that the families of Taliban leaders live comfortably under the protection and financial support of Pakistan’s intelligence agency, ISI. This dependency has rendered the Taliban incapable of defending Afghanistan’s sovereignty.

Kokcha News Agency: The Taliban’s silence in the face of Pakistan’s ongoing aggression against Afghanistan is a clear indication of their subservience to Islamabad. It is no secret that the families of Taliban leaders reside in Pakistan, enjoying a life of luxury funded by the country’s intelligence agency, the ISI. From housing to daily expenses, the Taliban’s leadership is financially dependent on Pakistan, making it impossible for them to take a stand against their benefactors.
Today, Afghanistan’s independence and territorial integrity are fully compromised by Pakistan’s proxies—mercenaries who, in the name of religion and jihad, have sacrificed the nation for the interests of Islamabad. The Taliban, as a hired and puppet group, cannot be expected to defend Afghanistan against Pakistan.
The recent bombings in provinces like Nuristan, Khost, and Nangarhar are stark evidence of this reality. These attacks, carried out with the Taliban’s coordination and silence, have left defenseless Afghan civilians as the primary victims. The Taliban, far from being defenders of Afghan soil, have become tools of Afghanistan’s historical enemy.
The Taliban must realize that the Afghan people are no longer fooled by their false promises. Khost, Nangarhar, and every inch of Afghan land belong to the Afghan people, not to the Taliban’s mercenaries.
The Taliban cannot heal the wounds of the Afghan nation because they are not part of this nation. The healing of this wound must come from within—through resilience, unity, and the expulsion of Islamabad’s proxies from our homeland.
