Israeli Drone Explodes During Inspection in Lebanon, Killing 2 Soldiers
An Israeli drone loaded with explosives crashed in southern Lebanon and detonated during inspection, killing two Lebanese soldiers, according to the Lebanese National News Agency (NNA).

Kokcha News Agency – An Israeli military drone carrying explosives crashed in the town of Naqoura, near the city of Tyre in southern Lebanon. The drone landed on a piece of heavy machinery and exploded while being inspected by Lebanese military personnel, resulting in the deaths of two soldiers.
Lebanese President Michel Aoun expressed his condolences to the Lebanese Army, stating, “The Army is paying the price of maintaining stability in the south with its blood.”
Prime Minister Najib Mikati also conveyed his condolences, calling Defense Minister Maurice Sleem to offer his sympathies. Mikati emphasized the importance of the military, saying, “The Army is the safety valve, the fortress of sovereignty, and the pillar of national unity.”
The incident has heightened tensions in the region, as Lebanon continues to face ongoing challenges along its southern border with Israel.
