Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan: “Our Message is Clear, Do Not Hostile Us”

Kokcha News Agency – During a live broadcast on TGRT Haber, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan addressed various global issues, including the ongoing conflict in Gaza, Turkey’s foreign policy, and regional security.

Fidan reiterated Turkey’s position on international relations, saying, “Our message is clear: Do not hostile us. As long as you do not hostile us, we will not hostile anyone. We do not categorically label anyone as an enemy. But if you do, we will not step back.”

Fidan also criticized Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, accusing him of trying to cover up his own actions by deflecting blame onto others. He pointed out that Netanyahu has been pressuring different countries in various ways, often leveraging Zionist lobbies to influence local politics.

The Foreign Minister highlighted the growing division within the global Jewish community, with many Jewish voices condemning the actions in Gaza as genocide. Fidan compared Netanyahu’s policies to the historical atrocities committed by Hitler, stating that Netanyahu’s actions are a repeat of the same madness.

Regarding the situation in Gaza, Fidan noted that the illusion of Israel’s invincibility has been shattered. He praised President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s vision and Turkey’s diplomatic efforts, which have changed the rhetoric and narrative around the Palestinian issue. Fidan emphasized that the world now recognizes Israel’s true intentions as territorial expansion under the guise of security.

Fidan also addressed the recent developments in Syria, expressing concerns over the destabilization caused by external forces. He warned against the creation of separatist political rhetoric and minority models that rely on external support, which he described as a great misfortune for Syria’s future.

On the topic of Azerbaijan-Armenia relations, Fidan expressed optimism about the recent agreements and the potential for regional peace. He highlighted Turkey’s role as a key actor in facilitating dialogue and ensuring stability in the region.

Fidan concluded by reiterating Turkey’s commitment to peace and stability, stating that Turkey does not seek to threaten any nation but will defend its national security and interests if necessary.
