Israeli Attacks on Gaza Claim 66 Palestinian Lives

In the latest wave of Israeli aggression, at least 66 Palestinians, including those waiting for aid, were killed in various parts of the Gaza Strip.

Kokcha News Agency – The Israeli military continues its relentless attacks on the Gaza Strip, targeting civilians and aid-seekers in multiple regions.

According to health sources and eyewitnesses, Israeli airstrikes on Wahdat Street in central Gaza City killed 3 Palestinians, while attacks in the Sheikh Ridwan area in the north also resulted in casualties.

In the northeast, Israeli forces targeted a house in the Zarka area, injuring several Palestinians. In the northwest, near the “Zikim” area, 9 Palestinians waiting for aid were killed by Israeli gunfire.

Other Israeli attacks across the northern, southern, and central parts of the Gaza Strip claimed the lives of 49 Palestinians, including those awaiting humanitarian assistance.

Additionally, in a recent airstrike on the Nuseirat Refugee Camp in central Gaza, 5 Palestinians were killed when Israeli forces targeted a civilian home.

Healthcare Crisis in Gaza:
Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in central Gaza is facing a severe crisis due to power outages, threatening the lives of patients.

Hospital management reported that the main generators have been repeatedly damaged due to heavy use and harsh conditions, putting critical departments like operating rooms, intensive care units, and neonatal units at risk.

The hospital is currently operating with only two generators, one medium and one small capacity, which are insufficient to meet the needs of critical care units.

The hospital administration has called for the urgent provision of at least a 400-kilovolt-ampere generator to save the lives of thousands of patients and injured individuals.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza has highlighted the shortage of generators and the inability to maintain existing equipment due to Israel’s blockade, which has also prevented the entry of spare parts, medicines, and medical supplies.

Deliberate Targeting of Healthcare:
Reports from the Palestinian government and human rights organizations indicate that Israeli forces have deliberately targeted healthcare workers, hospitals, and ambulances, severely damaging Gaza’s healthcare system.

United Nations agencies have repeatedly warned of the imminent collapse of the healthcare sector in Gaza.
