Russian President Vladimir Putin met with his Turkish counterpart, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit, where they discussed regional and international issues, including the Middle East, the Caucasus, and Africa.

Kokcha News Agency – According to a report by TASS, the meeting between Putin and Erdoğan focused on a number of regional issues, particularly the Middle East, North Africa, and the South Caucasus.

During the meeting, Putin emphasized that cooperation between Russia and Turkey in these areas is well-established and effective.

Putin told Erdoğan, “Our focus is on shared areas of interest, such as the Middle East, North Africa, and the Caucasus. Russia-Turkey cooperation in all these areas is well-established, tangible, and beneficial, and I can say it is based on trust.”
