Earthquake in Kunar: 1,411 Dead, 3,124 Injured, and 5,412 Homes Destroyed
The devastating earthquake in Kunar Province has so far claimed 1,411 lives, left 3,124 injured, and destroyed 5,412 homes. Rescue operations are ongoing, with teams using helicopters and special forces to evacuate the wounded and deliver aid to affected areas.

According to the latest reports, the powerful earthquake in the districts of Nurgal, Chuki, Chapa Dara, Pech Dara, Watapur, and Asadabad in Kunar Province has resulted in 1,411 deaths, 3,124 injuries, and the complete destruction of 5,412 homes.
Rescue operations continue today in all affected areas. In regions where helicopter landings are not possible, dozens of commando forces have been airlifted to rescue people trapped under the rubble and transport them to safe locations.
A relief camp has also been established in the Khas Kunar district, where service committees are organizing essential supplies and emergency aid. Additionally, two relief centers have been set up near the disaster site, responsible for transferring the injured, burying the dead, and rescuing survivors.
