Israeli Attacks on Gaza Strip Kill 13 Palestinians, Including Aid Seekers

GAZA (Kokcha.News) — Israeli forces have launched a series of attacks on the Gaza Strip since early morning, targeting civilian areas, homes, and tents where displaced Palestinians are sheltering. According to eyewitnesses and health sources, 13 Palestinians have been killed, including 5 people who were waiting to receive humanitarian aid.

In northern Gaza City, Israeli forces targeted multi-story buildings in densely populated areas where thousands of displaced people are living. In southern Gaza, an Israeli airstrike on a multi-story building on Al-Sina Street killed 4 Palestinians and injured many others.

Israeli forces also bombed 3 schools operated by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) in the Al-Shati Refugee Camp, displacing thousands of people who had sought shelter there. Additionally, Israeli attacks targeted the Krayzem area, the old post office building, and several residential buildings near the old police station in the camp.

In the early hours of the morning, Israeli forces bombed an apartment building near a UNRWA food distribution center in the camp, injuring many Palestinians.

The Israeli military also dropped leaflets in several neighborhoods, including Rimal, Sheikh Ajlin, Tal al-Hawa, and Gaza Port, urging Palestinians to evacuate to the southern Gaza Strip via Rashid Street.

Witnesses reported that Israeli forces carried out intense attacks in the northwestern areas of Gaza overnight. In the Sheikh Ridwan neighborhood, Israeli forces detonated 3 booby-trapped robots and opened fire on civilians in the Al-Baraka area.

In the Muhabarat area of northwestern Gaza, an Israeli strike on a multi-story residential building injured many Palestinians.

In the central Gaza Strip, Israeli attacks focused on Deir al-Balah and the Netzarim axis, where people were gathering to receive aid. In the Netzarim area, 5 Palestinians waiting for aid near a so-called distribution point operated by the Gaza Humanitarian Aid Foundation were killed by Israeli gunfire, and many others were injured.

In Deir al-Balah, Israeli artillery bombarded various areas in the eastern part of the city, and military vehicles opened heavy and random fire.

In central Gaza City, an Israeli bombardment targeting a group of civilians on Al-Jala Street killed 2 Palestinians and injured many others.
