Pezeshkian Criticizes IAEA’s Double Standards in Conversation with French President

In a conversation with the President of France, Dr. Pezeshkian highlighted the double standards of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), stating that they have created significant problems for regional and global security, particularly in relation to the Zionist regime’s nuclear activities.

Dr. Pezeshkian, during a discussion with the President of France, raised critical concerns about the International Atomic Energy Agency’s (IAEA) approach to nuclear security and its double standards. He pointed out that the criminal Zionist regime, which is not a member of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), continues to be a reference point and basis for the IAEA’s reports.

“These double standards have created many problems for regional and global security,” Dr. Pezeshkian stated. He emphasized that it is expected that the IAEA, while respecting the rights of countries and avoiding double standards, should defend the rights of its member countries more effectively.

Dr. Pezeshkian’s remarks come amid growing concerns over the IAEA’s perceived bias and its handling of nuclear issues in the Middle East. The Zionist regime’s nuclear activities, which remain outside the framework of the NPT, have long been a point of contention in international discussions on nuclear security and non-proliferation.

The president’s comments underscore the need for a more balanced and equitable approach by the IAEA, one that ensures all member countries are treated fairly and that global security is not compromised by selective enforcement of nuclear regulations.
