Behind the Scenes: Global Intelligence Collaboration in the Scripted Fall of Afghanistan

KABUL (Kokcha.News) —The fall of Afghanistan in August 2021 was not merely a military defeat but a meticulously scripted event involving the collaboration of global intelligence agencies. The U.S., which controlled Afghanistan’s airspace as per the Doha Agreement, continued to funnel $90 million weekly into the Taliban’s coffers, raising the question: Are you funding your enemy or re-imposing your ally in the guise of an adversary?

Zalmay Khalilzad, the architect of the Doha Agreement and the puppet republic, is now in Kabul as a special guest of the Taliban. He built the republic, rebuilt the Taliban, and is now reaping rewards from both sides.

On the day Kabul fell, not only was Pakistan’s intelligence chief, Faiz Hameed, present, but the CIA director was also in the city. Both were there not to fight terrorism but to oversee the handover of power to the Taliban.

During the Taliban’s occupation of Panjshir, the same powers that claim to defend human rights remained silent or complicit, allowing the Taliban to crush resistance with drones, heavy weapons, and psychological warfare.

Today, China is training the Taliban in air defense, Russia is holding official meetings with the group, and Iran, despite its anti-imperialist rhetoric, has remained silent.

This is not just a series of contradictions but a new order of hypocrisy—a world where terrorists are funded by Washington and Doha, trained in Beijing, legitimized in Moscow, and tolerated in Tehran.

And the people of Afghanistan, still trapped in poverty, injustice, and despair, are expected to remain silent. But silence is not an option. History will not forget this stain of betrayal.
