Doctors Without Borders Halts Operations in Gaza Due to Israeli Attacks
Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), also known as Doctors Without Borders, has suspended its operations in Gaza City citing the increasing intensity of Israeli attacks, which have made it impossible to continue providing medical aid.

Kokcha News Agency: Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) announced that it has been forced to halt its activities in Gaza City due to the escalating Israeli military offensive. The organization stated that the intensifying attacks have created an unacceptable level of risk for its staff, making it impossible to continue operations.
In a statement, MSF highlighted the deteriorating security situation in Gaza City, where Israeli forces have surrounded clinics and other medical facilities. Jacob Granger, MSF’s Emergency Coordinator in Gaza, expressed deep concern, saying, “We had no choice but to suspend our activities as our clinics are surrounded by Israeli forces. The needs in Gaza City are immense, and the most vulnerable people cannot move. Newborn babies, critically injured patients, and those with life-threatening illnesses are at great risk. This is the last thing we wanted to do.”
Israel’s Occupation Plan:
The Israeli Security Cabinet approved a plan on August 8 to occupy Gaza City in the northern Gaza Strip, and the military launched a large-scale offensive on August 11 to seize the city. An Israeli military official stated on September 19 that 480,000 Palestinians had fled from Gaza City to southern areas.
As part of its occupation plan, the Israeli military has demolished dozens of multi-story buildings in Gaza City through airstrikes, further exacerbating the humanitarian crisis.
