UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed emphasized the urgent need to end the Gaza war during a meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York.

Kokcha News Agency: UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in New York, where he stressed the “urgent need to bring an end to the bloody conflict in Gaza, reach a permanent and sustainable ceasefire, and prevent further loss of life,” according to UAE state news agency WAM.

Sheikh Abdullah highlighted the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza, calling for the mobilization of all possible efforts to ensure the unimpeded and sustainable delivery of humanitarian aid. He also reiterated the UAE’s “unwavering commitment” to supporting initiatives aimed at achieving a comprehensive peace based on the two-state solution, which he said would fulfill the aspirations of both Palestinians and Israelis.
