Economic Toll: Afghanistan’s Connectivity Blackout Costs Taliban Millions
Afghanistan's plunge into a connectivity blackout is inflicting significant financial losses on both the population and the Taliban group.

The Taliban’s revenue from customs duties is approximately $7.5 million per day. With the communications cut entering its third day, this means the Taliban have incurred nearly $23 million in financial losses.
At the same time, thousands of trucks are stranded at Afghanistan’s borders, directly harming traders and the public.
Considering this aspect of the consequences of the Taliban’s foolish decision, one can assume that the issue is not limited to matters of morality and concern about obscene and erotic scenes on the internet.
There are deeper issues at play, which the Taliban, as usual and lacking a sense of responsibility towards the people, have resorted to concealment.
