Trump’s Plan: A Reward to Israel for Genocide in Gaza

A London-based media outlet has criticized U.S. President Donald Trump’s proposal for Gaza, calling it a reward to the Zionist regime for its genocide against Palestinians, punishing the victims instead of the perpetrators.

Kokcha News Agency – In the lead-up to the second anniversary of the genocide in Gaza, U.S. President Donald Trump issued his latest ultimatum under the guise of a “peace plan,” which has been supported by Washington-aligned governments to maintain Jewish supremacy and quell global outrage. The Middle East Eye (MEE) reported that this plan effectively threatens Palestinians with further genocide unless they submit to the U.S.-Israel project of continued destruction of their lives and homeland.

The Palestinian Authority (PA), along with European, Arab, and Muslim-majority countries like Turkey, Pakistan, and Indonesia, as well as the United Nations and the Vatican, have seemingly endorsed this genocidal threat. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, one of the apparent architects of the plan, has agreed to it under the guise of “compromise.”

MEE argues that this international consensus accepts Israel’s genocide of Palestinians as a means to maintain its supremacy and even rewards it. Trump and the governments supporting his plan are demanding that Palestinians surrender their resistance to the genocidal state, while exempting the Israeli military from the exhausting effort of continuing the massacre and expulsion of survivors.

The Arab League, under U.S. orders, had previously called for the disarmament of Palestinian resistance and the evacuation of Gaza. It is no surprise that the victims of genocide are expected to surrender their limited weapons, while the war criminals committing the massacres continue to be heavily armed by the U.S. and Europe.

MEE further criticized the New York Times for not only supporting Trump’s genocidal threats but also insisting that Palestinian victims be sent to re-education camps to learn to love their oppressors and accept their fate without the right to resist those seeking their destruction.

Trump’s plan also seeks to further divide Palestinians by separating the survivors of the Gaza genocide from the rest of the Palestinian population. It follows the Oslo Accords’ strategy of dividing Palestinians living in the 1967 territories from those expelled in 1948 and those living under occupation. Meanwhile, the Netanyahu government is advancing plans to annex the West Bank, starting with the E1 settlement project, which would seize 36% of Area C.

MEE also highlighted Israel’s use of psychological torture, including drones broadcasting recorded screams and cries for help to lure residents out before shooting them. This tactic follows a long tradition of Zionist psychological warfare, dating back to 1948.

Despite international condemnation from the ICJ, the UN, and human rights organizations, Trump’s plan aims to neutralize global outrage by rewarding Israel and encouraging U.S.-aligned Arab regimes to do the same.

Hamas, however, has responded intelligently, agreeing to a ceasefire, prisoner exchange, Israeli withdrawal, and the establishment of a technocratic committee to govern Gaza post-genocide. They have also agreed to surrender their weapons but only to a future Palestinian government in an independent state.
