Government Media Office Warns Gaza Residents Amid Ceasefire Uncertainty
The Government Media Office in Gaza has issued a warning to residents, urging them to exercise extreme caution in their movements until an official ceasefire is announced by Palestinian authorities.
Kokcha News Agency – The Government Media Office in Gaza has called on residents to remain vigilant and avoid unnecessary movement until an official ceasefire is declared by relevant Palestinian institutions. The office specifically advised against traveling on the Al-Rashid and Salah al-Din streets, which run north to south and vice versa, as well as their surrounding areas, to ensure the safety of citizens.
The warning comes as a precautionary measure to protect lives and prepare for any potential violations of the ceasefire agreement by the occupying Zionist forces. The office emphasized that safeguarding citizens’ lives is a national priority and a collective responsibility, urging people to adhere to official guidelines to maintain security and health during this critical period.
Earlier reports indicated that the Israeli military continues to bomb certain areas in Gaza despite the announcement of a ceasefire agreement. Zionist military analyst Amir Bochbot confirmed that the army is currently bombing parts of Gaza, and a military source stated that the ceasefire will not take effect until official orders are given by political authorities.
The Zionist newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth reported that the Israeli regime will withdraw to agreed-upon positions within 24 hours of the cabinet’s approval of the agreement. Meanwhile, Israel’s Channel 12 cited a U.S. official stating that the war in Gaza has ended, and the prisoner exchange agreement is expected to be implemented after the Israeli cabinet’s approval.
The channel also noted that no formal ceremony will be held for the handover of Israeli captives as part of the agreement. U.S. media outlet Axios, quoting an American official, confirmed that the war in Gaza has concluded, and the release of prisoners will occur 72 hours after the Israeli cabinet ratifies the deal.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu thanked U.S. President Donald Trump and his team for their efforts in securing the return of Israeli captives, announcing that a cabinet meeting will be held tomorrow to approve the agreement and ensure the release of all Israeli prisoners.
Earlier, the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) officially announced the achievement of an agreement to end the war in Gaza, including a prisoner exchange.
