Hamas: We Have Submitted the List of Palestinians to Be Released

Kokcha News Agency – Following the announcement of a ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement in Gaza, Hamas has confirmed that it has handed over a list of Palestinians it expects Israel to release. In a statement, Hamas indicated that the list was submitted in accordance with the criteria agreed upon in the ceasefire deal.

The statement noted that the final agreement on the names of the Palestinians to be released is still pending, and once the necessary procedures are completed, the names will be shared publicly. Hamas emphasized that the release of Palestinian prisoners held in Israeli jails remains one of its top priorities, vowing to continue its efforts “until the last Palestinian prisoner is freed.”

Ceasefire Agreement:
The announcement comes after U.S. President Donald Trump confirmed that Israel and Hamas had agreed to the first phase of a ceasefire plan, which includes the release of hostages and the withdrawal of Israeli forces to agreed-upon lines. Hamas has also verified the agreement, marking a significant step toward ending the ongoing conflict in Gaza.

The submission of the prisoner list is a crucial step in the implementation of the ceasefire agreement. As both sides work toward finalizing the details, the release of Palestinian prisoners is expected to bring relief to many families and pave the way for further diplomatic efforts in the region.
