Kokcha News Agency – The Israeli army, in violation of the ceasefire agreement, opened fire on Palestinians trying to return to their homes in the Gaza Strip, resulting in the deaths of 5 people. According to the Palestinian official news agency WAFA, Israeli soldiers targeted civilians in the Shujaiya neighborhood of Gaza City.
Reports indicate that Israeli forces used drones to fire on Palestinians who were inspecting their homes in the Shujaiya neighborhood, killing 5 individuals. Additionally, two Palestinians who were injured in previous Israeli attacks succumbed to their wounds.
The Israeli army confirmed the attack in a written statement, claiming that a group of Palestinians had crossed the so-called “Yellow Line” withdrawal zone and approached Israeli soldiers. The statement alleged that Israeli soldiers attempted to prevent the Palestinians from advancing but opened fire when their warnings were ignored.
