“Pakistan Will Soon Be Conquered” – Slogan or Geopolitical Pressure Tactic?

The leader of Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), Mufti Noor Wali Mehsud, has declared that “Pakistan will soon be conquered by TTP Mujahideen.” This claim coincides with escalating border clashes and the breakdown of talks between Islamabad and the Afghan Taliban in Istanbul.

Informed sources say the reason for the collapse of the negotiations was a disagreement over the fate of TTP fighters; Islamabad considers their presence on Afghan soil unacceptable, but the Taliban in Kabul deny everything, as usual.

Analysts believe these grandiose slogans are not the beginning of a rebellion, but rather a tool for political and intelligence pressure – part of the same managed geopolitical battle that progresses with aggressive propaganda and soft diplomacy.
