Trump Supports Renewed Zionist Regime Aggression on Gaza

U.S. President Donald Trump has backed the Zionist regime’s renewed assault on the Gaza Strip, claiming that the attacks do not jeopardize the ceasefire.

According to KOKCHANEWS, Trump told reporters accompanying him on his Asia trip on Wednesday: “Nothing is jeopardizing the ceasefire. They (Hamas) killed an Israeli soldier, so they retaliated. They have to retaliate.”

He further threatened: “If Hamas doesn’t behave properly, they will be destroyed.”

The office of Benjamin Netanyahu, the Zionist regime’s prime minister, announced Tuesday night that he had ordered “strong and immediate” strikes on Gaza following the killing of an Israeli soldier in Rafah. The attacks resulted in 41 martyrs and dozens injured.

Trump is heading to South Korea to attend the APEC summit, where he is expected to meet with leaders of several countries, including Chinese President Xi Jinping. Regarding the meeting, Trump told reporters: “I think we’ll have a good meeting, and many problems will be solved.”

He added: “I have the highest poll numbers. Based on what I’ve read, I might not be allowed to run in the election. We’ll see what happens. It’s very bad.”

The latest Reuters/Ipsos poll shows Trump’s approval rating among Americans has dropped to 40%, while dissatisfaction with his job performance has risen to 57%.
