Musk said “Trump is in the documents”: Epstein had no “client list”

The U.S. Department of Justice and FBI have concluded that Jeffrey Epstein did not blackmail powerful figures, maintain a “client list,” or die by foul play, according to a document obtained by Axios.

The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) have concluded that Jeffrey Epstein, the disgraced financier and convicted sex offender, did not blackmail powerful individuals, maintain a “client list,” or die as a result of foul play. The findings, detailed in a two-page document obtained by Axios, counter widespread conspiracy theories surrounding Epstein’s death in prison in 2019.

Key Findings
The document states that there is no evidence to support claims that Epstein blackmailed powerful figures or kept a list of clients. It also confirms that Epstein died by suicide in his Manhattan jail cell on August 9, 2019. Investigators reviewed both raw and enhanced video footage from the night of Epstein’s death, which showed no unauthorized individuals entering the area.

The findings support the medical examiner’s conclusion that Epstein’s death was a suicide. The DOJ and FBI have determined that no further investigation into Epstein’s death or his alleged blackmail activities is warranted.

Controversy and Conspiracy Theories
Epstein’s death has been the subject of numerous conspiracy theories, with some suggesting he was killed to prevent him from exposing powerful individuals involved in his crimes. The document, however, dismisses these claims, stating that there is no credible evidence to support them.

Elon Musk’s Allegations
Billionaire Elon Musk recently accused former President Donald Trump of being named in Epstein’s documents, but later deleted the post, admitting he had “gone too far.” The DOJ and FBI document does not implicate any third parties in Epstein’s crimes, and no further charges are expected.

Epstein’s Accomplice
Epstein’s accomplice, Ghislaine Maxwell, is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence for her role in facilitating Epstein’s crimes.

The DOJ and FBI have determined that releasing additional materials related to Epstein’s case is neither appropriate nor necessary, effectively closing the door on further investigations into his death and alleged blackmail activities.
