Drone Attacks in Russia Force Cancellation of 287 Flights

Ukraine’s drone attacks on Moscow and other Russian cities over the past 24 hours have led to the cancellation of 287 flights, according to Russia’s Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsiya).

Russia’s Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsiya) announced that 287 flights have been canceled or delayed due to ongoing drone attacks by Ukrainian forces targeting Moscow, St. Petersburg, and Nizhny Novgorod.

Impact on Air Travel
In a written statement, Rosaviatsiya confirmed that the attacks have disrupted air traffic across the country, leading to temporary restrictions on airspace usage. The agency stated, “In light of the temporary restrictions on airspace usage in various regions of the country, developments in domestic air transport are being monitored. The situation is manageable.”

Ukrainian Drone Attacks
Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian forces have launched multiple drone attacks on Russian cities, including the capital, Moscow. The Russian military has reportedly downed several Ukrainian drones using its defense systems.
