Texas Flood Death Toll Rises to 91, Including 28 Children

The death toll from the severe floods caused by heavy rainfall in Texas on July 4 has risen to 91, including 28 children.

Rescue teams are still searching for 41 missing people, particularly in the Kerr County area. The bodies of 28 children were recovered from a region where summer camps were located. The flooding, triggered by the Guadalupe River rising 8 meters, has caused widespread destruction.

White House Spokesperson Karoline Leavitt warned that the situation remains dangerous and urged residents to heed official warnings.

Leavitt defended the National Weather Service (NWS), stating that it issued timely and accurate alerts. She also criticized Democrats for their “immoral and despicable” accusations against the Trump administration, accusing them of politicizing the tragedy.

U.S. President Donald Trump plans to visit the affected area on Friday to assess the damage. Trump had previously declared Kerr County a disaster zone.
