Kremlin Awaits Ukraine’s Proposal for Third Round of Talks

Kokcha News Agency: Dmitry Peskov, the Kremlin spokesperson, told reporters that Russia is awaiting Ukraine’s proposal for the date of the third round of negotiations and expressed hope that a date would be set soon.

Peskov stressed, “We value the initiatives of U.S. President Donald Trump and his team regarding direct negotiations between Russia and Ukraine, but arms shipments to Ukraine are incompatible with efforts for a peaceful solution.”

He noted, “There is no definitive information on whether arms shipments have stopped or not. Conflicting statements have been made on this issue; it is clear that arms shipments are continuing. Europeans are also actively involved in sending weapons to Ukraine. These actions are incompatible with efforts to advance a peaceful solution.”
