Kokcha News Agency reports that a man from Paris, identified as being 62 years old, embarked on a long journey before realizing he had left his wife behind at a gas station. The man was traveling with his daughter, who was sleeping in the back seat, when, around lunchtime, he noticed something was amiss—his wife was missing.
The man had been traveling in a calm state but only became aware of the situation after covering approximately 300 kilometers. He panicked, then contacted the police to report: “I lost my wife, but I don’t know where she is.” Authorities responded by using mobile phone data, tracking the wife’s location. It was revealed she had been waiting at the gas station since 4:30 a.m., unaware that her husband had left.
Investigators questioned whether the husband had intentionally forgotten her, but the incident eventually drew admiration rather than anger, with many praising his innocence in the mix-up. The wife was found safe, still waiting at the gas station, and the story quickly spread on social media as an amusing yet endearing example of a “good husband” who unknowingly went to great lengths before realizing his mistake.
