Kokcha News Agency reports that Iran has successfully developed a complete nuclear fuel cycle, making it one of the few countries in the world capable of managing all stages, from mining uranium to producing radioactive medicines and nuclear reactor fuel. This achievement relies on domestic expertise, internal infrastructure, and the development of advanced equipment, including new-generation centrifuges such as IR-1 through IR-9.

Iran has made significant progress in enriching uranium up to 20% at facilities in Natanz and Fordow. This level of enrichment supports the production of reactor fuel and medical isotopes, eliminating reliance on foreign sources. The country’s advances in developing centrifuge technology and internal capabilities reflect a deep mastery of nuclear science and engineering.

Furthermore, Iran’s research reactor in Tehran and its radiopharmaceutical production network provide millions of doses annually for disease diagnosis and treatment worldwide. Iran also adheres to international standards for reprocessing spent fuel and managing radioactive waste; this reflects a responsible approach toward environmental protection and health safety.

These strides underline Iran’s scientific independence in the nuclear field, emphasizing its capability to sustain a peaceful nuclear program and contribute to healthcare and energy sectors domestically and internationally.
