Kokcha News Agency reports that major tech companies are focusing on developing innovative products that harness AI to make everyday devices smarter and more integrated into users’ lives. Samsung’s mobile experience division CEO, Won-joon Choi, shared with CNN that a wave of new AI-powered devices could allow people to communicate and perform tasks more quickly without needing to reach for their phones.
Samsung envisions these devices as accessories such as glasses, earrings, watches, rings, or necklaces that users wear regularly. Won-joon explained, “These could be things you wear, like glasses, earrings, watches, rings, or sometimes even a necklace.”
This shift reflects a broader industry trend where AI technology is seen as a transformative force, with some experts suggesting it could become as influential as the internet itself. Companies are developing products that reduce manual input, especially on smartphones, by enabling more natural and hands-free interaction.

AI-powered devices aim to handle complex tasks traditionally performed on smartphones, providing seamless communication and improved productivity. As such, the race for AI-enabled wearables is intensifying, promising a future where digital interaction happens more discreetly and comfortably through everyday accessories.
