Israel Kills Another Journalist in Gaza, Death Toll Rises to 230
Israeli forces have killed another journalist in Gaza, bringing the total number of media workers killed since October 7, 2023, to 230, as the war on the besieged enclave continues.
Kokcha News Agency: Israeli forces have killed journalist Fadi Khalifa in an attack on the Zaytoun neighborhood in southeastern Gaza City, according to health sources.
The strike also claimed the life of another civilian, raising the total number of journalists killed in Gaza since October 7, 2023, to 230.
The Gaza government’s media office had previously reported on July 10 that 229 journalists had been killed in Israeli attacks.
The latest death underscores the ongoing targeting of media workers in Gaza, where journalists continue to risk their lives to report on the conflict.
