US Envoy Kellogg Visits Kyiv to Discuss Deepening Cooperation with Ukraine
Keith Kellogg, US President Trump’s special envoy to Ukraine, arrived in Kyiv to discuss a range of issues, including defense, security, and deepening bilateral cooperation, as tensions with Russia continue to escalate.
Kokcha News Agency– US President Donald Trump’s special envoy to Ukraine, Keith Kellogg, arrived in Kyiv today for high-level talks with Ukrainian officials. Kellogg was welcomed by Andriy Yermak, Head of the Ukrainian Presidential Office, who expressed enthusiasm for the visit and highlighted the importance of discussions on defense, security, sanctions, and strengthening US-Ukraine cooperation.
Yermak stated, “We are pleased to host US President’s special envoy Keith Kellogg in Ukraine. There are many topics to discuss, including defense, strengthening security, weapons, sanctions, protecting our people, and deepening cooperation between Ukraine and the US.” He also emphasized that Russia shows no intention of ceasing hostilities, adding, “Peace through strength is US President Donald Trump’s principle, and we support this approach.”
The visit comes amid heightened tensions between the US and Russia, with President Trump recently expressing disappointment in Russian President Vladimir Putin and announcing plans to send Patriot air defense systems to Ukraine. Kellogg’s visit underscores the US commitment to supporting Ukraine in the face of ongoing Russian aggression.
