Syria’s UN Representative Accuses Israel of Aggressive Policies, Calls for International Action
Syria’s representative at the United Nations has accused Israel of continuing its aggressive policies in recent months, urging the international community to force Israel to withdraw from occupied Syrian territories.
Kokcha News Agency: Syria’s representative at the United Nations has condemned Israel’s ongoing aggressive policies, stating that Israel has intensified its actions in recent months.
The representative called on the international community to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied Syrian territories. Syrian sources report that at least 700 personnel from the Syrian Ministry of Defense (Joulani forces) have been killed in recent clashes with Israeli forces and Israel-backed groups.
The Israeli military has issued an evacuation warning for an entire neighborhood in Damascus, signaling potential escalation.
Meanwhile, Turkey’s Foreign Minister criticized Israel’s support for certain Druze factions in the region, calling it unacceptable and a source of instability. He emphasized that the division of Syria would only perpetuate chaos, a situation Turkey cannot accept.
In a related development, Israeli General Eyal Zamir, Chief of the Joint Staff of the Israeli Defense Forces, announced that orders have been issued to accelerate and expand attacks on Syria.
Zamir stated that Israel is committed to the security of the Druze community and will spare no effort in assisting them. He also mentioned that Israel is increasing its military presence in the Golan Heights to defend the Druze and counter any threats to Israeli security.
