Iran’s Ministry of Communications Files Complaint Against Starlink
Iran’s Ministry of Communications has formally complained to the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) about Starlink’s unauthorized operation of satellite internet services within Iranian territory.

Kokcha News Agency: Iran’s Ministry of Communications has lodged an official complaint with the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) against Starlink for operating its satellite internet services in Iran without proper authorization.
According to international regulations, SpaceX, the parent company of Starlink, is required to obtain licenses from individual countries before providing satellite internet services within their territories.
This process has been followed in countries such as India, Malaysia, Vietnam, and Pakistan.
This is not the first time Starlink’s operations have faced legal challenges in various countries. Previously, nations including India, China, and Russia have protested the unauthorized entry of the Starlink system into their airspace, prompting Elon Musk to seek necessary permits.
