Kokcha News Agency: Israeli Channel 14 has reported an assassination in Damascus following an Israeli airstrike on the Syrian capital. The attack comes as tensions in the region continue to escalate.
In response to the airstrike, Vasily Nebenzya, Russia’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, has called on Syrian authorities to take necessary measures to ensure the security of Russian citizens and facilities in the country.
The Israeli airstrike also targeted the outskirts of Suwayda in southern Syria, further intensifying the conflict in the region.
