In his statement, Barrack tagged U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio and called on all parties to lay down their arms and work towards building a new, unified Syrian identity. He stated, “We call on the Druze, Bedouins, and Sunnis to lay down their weapons and, together with other minorities, build a new and unified Syrian identity in peace and prosperity with their neighbors.”
