U.S. President Donald Trump has asserted that all three of Iran’s nuclear enrichment facilities—Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan—were completely destroyed in last month’s airstrikes, contradicting reports from U.S. media that only one facility was significantly damaged.
Kokcha News Agency: In a recent statement, U.S. President Donald Trump claimed that all three of Iran’s nuclear enrichment facilities—Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan—were completely destroyed in last month’s airstrikes.
Trump stated, “All three nuclear facilities in Iran were completely destroyed or eliminated. It would take years to bring these facilities back online, and if Iran wants to do so, it would make more sense for them to start from scratch in three different locations rather than trying to restore them to their previous state. Thank you for your interest in this matter.”
This statement contradicts reports from U.S. media, particularly NBC News, which cited five U.S. officials claiming that only one of the three nuclear enrichment facilities was destroyed in the attack, while the other two suffered minimal damage.
According to these officials, Iran could potentially restart nuclear enrichment at the two less-damaged facilities within a few months if it chooses to do so.
