Iran: Nuclear Talks to Be Held in Istanbul on July 25
Iranian state television has announced that nuclear talks between Iran and the UK, France, and Germany will take place in Istanbul on July 25.
Kokcha News Agency: According to Iranian state television, the next round of nuclear talks between Iran and the European trio (UK, France, and Germany) will be held in Istanbul on July 25. This meeting is part of ongoing efforts to revive the 2015 nuclear deal (JCPOA), which has been in jeopardy since the US withdrew from the agreement in 2018.
The talks aim to address key issues, including the lifting of sanctions on Iran and the country’s compliance with nuclear restrictions. The decision to hold the talks in Istanbul highlights the city’s role as a neutral ground for diplomatic negotiations.
This meeting follows previous rounds of talks held in Vienna, Geneva, and Doha, as the international community seeks to prevent a further escalation of tensions over Iran’s nuclear program.
