Russia Releases Images of Its Mass Production Line for Low-Cost Suicide Drones
The Russian Ministry of Defense has released images of the mass production line for its Green-2 suicide drones, a copy of Iran’s Shahed-136 drone, at the Alabuga Special Economic Zone in the Republic of Tatarstan.

Kokcha News Agency: The Russian Ministry of Defense has unveiled images of its mass production line for Green-2 suicide drones, which are based on the design of Iran’s Shahed-136 drones. The production is taking place in the Alabuga Special Economic Zone in Tatarstan, a region known for its industrial capabilities.
This development comes just days after US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin revealed an American-made version of the Iranian Shahed-136 drone, highlighting the global proliferation of this low-cost, high-impact technology.
The Green-2 drones, like their Iranian counterparts, are designed for suicide missions, where they are used to carry out precision strikes by crashing into targets. These drones are relatively inexpensive to produce, making them a cost-effective tool for modern warfare.
The release of these images underscores Russia’s efforts to bolster its drone capabilities amid ongoing military operations, particularly in Ukraine, where drones have played a significant role in recent conflicts.
