In a related development, Israeli media has reported that Israel is planning to send additional aid to the Druze community in Suwayda.
The Druze, a religious minority in Syria, have been caught in the crossfire of the ongoing conflict, and Israel has historically maintained close ties with the Druze population in the region.
The spiritual leader of the Druze community has called for an immediate cessation of all attacks and the withdrawal of all Syrian government forces from Suwayda.
The leader emphasized the need for peace and stability in the region, warning that continued violence could lead to further destabilization.
