The number of Palestinians killed in Israel’s ongoing attacks on Gaza has increased by 101 in the last 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 60,239 since October 7, 2023.
Kokcha News Agency: The Palestinian Health Ministry in Gaza has released updated figures on the casualties caused by Israel’s relentless attacks. According to the ministry, 101 bodies and 625 injured individuals were brought to hospitals in the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours.
Since Israel broke the ceasefire on March 18, 2024, after a temporary truce on January 19, 9,071 Palestinians have been killed, and 34,853 civilians have been injured. The total number of deaths since October 7, 2023, has now reached 60,239, with 146,894 injured.
It is also reported that thousands of bodies remain buried under the rubble in Gaza, as rescue efforts continue to be hampered by the ongoing violence.
In addition to the direct attacks, Israel’s blockade has led to a severe humanitarian crisis, with starvation claiming more lives. In the last 24 hours, seven more Palestinians died from hunger, bringing the total number of starvation-related deaths to 154, including 89 children.
Furthermore, systematic attacks on Palestinians in humanitarian aid distribution zones, allegedly coordinated by Israel and the US under the guise of the “Gaza Humanitarian Aid Foundation,” have resulted in 1,320 deaths and 8,818 injuries since May 27, 2024.
