Suspect in Minnesota Church Shooting Wrote Provocative Messages on Ammo, Including “Kill Donald Trump”

The suspect in Wednesday’s church shooting in Minnesota, which left two children dead, had written provocative messages on ammunition magazines, including one that read "Kill Donald Trump," according to images released online around the time of the attack.

Kokcha News Agency – The suspect in the shooting at a Minneapolis church, identified as 23-year-old Robin Westman, had written inflammatory messages on their ammunition magazines, including one that said “Kill Donald Trump.” These images were published online almost simultaneously with the shooting.

Westman, who was referred to as male by officials during press conferences, had legally changed their name from Robert to Robin in 2020 after identifying as a woman, according to court documents.

Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey emphasized that this incident should not be used to target or stigmatize the transgender community. During a press conference, he stated, “Anyone who uses this situation to vilify our transgender community or any other community has lost their sense of shared humanity.”

Earlier, Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O’Hara confirmed that at least two children, aged 8 and 10, were killed, and 17 others were injured in the shooting at a Catholic school in southern Minneapolis. Most of the victims were children, with two reported to be in critical condition.
