The state-run Xinhua News Agency reported that over 80,000 residents have been evacuated from the affected areas, and rescue teams are still working to manage the aftermath of the disaster.

The flooding has caused significant damage to infrastructure and property, with emergency services struggling to cope with the scale of the crisis.

The Chinese government has mobilized resources to assist those affected, but the situation remains critical as rescue operations continue.
