Kokcha News Agency – The humanitarian crisis in Gaza, under Israeli siege and bombardment, has escalated further after an aid truck overturned, killing 20 people and injuring many more. The incident occurred when Israeli forces reportedly directed the truck onto an unsafe road in Deir al-Balah, a route previously bombed by the Israeli military and deemed unfit for passage.
The Gaza Media Office, part of the local government, condemned the incident, stating that Israel has been deliberately creating chaos by restricting humanitarian aid and forcing aid trucks into dangerous areas. The office accused Israel of intentionally endangering the lives of Palestinians by directing aid vehicles into unsafe routes, where they are exposed to attacks and accidents.
The truck, carrying essential food supplies, was overwhelmed by desperate Palestinians who have been suffering from severe hunger and lack of basic necessities due to the ongoing blockade. The truck overturned under the pressure of the crowd, leading to the tragic loss of life.
