Hawaii’s Kilauea Volcano Erupts Again, Lava Flow Accelerates
Kilauea, one of the world’s most active volcanoes, has erupted again in Hawaii, marking its 30th eruption since December and causing an acceleration in lava flow.
Kokcha News Agency: Kilauea Volcano in Hawaii, one of the most active volcanoes in the world, has erupted once again, with lava flow intensifying following its 30th eruption since December 23. U.S. authorities have warned visitors to the national park where the volcano is located to be cautious of harmful gases emitted during the eruption.
Geologists have already begun collecting lava samples for chemical analysis to better understand the volcanic activity. Kilauea’s previous major eruption in 2019 caused significant damage, destroying hundreds of homes.
Kilauea has been continuously active since 1983, with frequent eruptions shaping the landscape of Hawaii. In addition to Kilauea, there are five other active volcanoes on the Hawaiian Islands.
