Kokcha News Agency** – U.S. President Donald Trump has refuted Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s claims that there is no hunger in Gaza, according to reports.
During his visit to Scotland on July 28, Trump dismissed Netanyahu’s assertions, prompting a tense phone call between the two leaders.
American television channel NBC News claimed that Netanyahu requested a phone call with Trump following the President’s statements. The two reportedly spoke hours later, during which Netanyahu argued that reports of hunger in Gaza were fabricated by Hamas.
According to NBC, which cited U.S. officials, Trump interrupted Netanyahu and began shouting, stating that he did not want the hunger in Gaza to be dismissed as “fake.”
The Israeli Prime Minister’s Office has denied the allegations, while the White House has yet to issue any official statement.
