Kokcha News Agency – A hot air balloon crash in the northern Friesland region of the Netherlands has left one person dead and five others injured. The balloon, which was carrying 34 people, reportedly descended rapidly and hit the ground hard, according to local authorities.
The Dutch Royal Aeronautical Association spokesperson, citing local media reports, stated that a sudden gust of wind caused the balloon to crash violently, leading to the basket bouncing and five people falling out.
An investigation into the incident has been launched to determine the exact cause of the crash.
