The letter was later published by American news outlet FOX News.
In the letter, addressed as “Dear President Putin,” Melania Trump highlighted the need to safeguard children and future generations worldwide. She stated that every child dreams of living a life filled with love and free from danger, and that leaders have a responsibility to ensure their safety.
“The children of every generation begin life with an innocence that transcends geography, government, or ideology,” Melania wrote.
She concluded her letter by urging Putin to act, saying, “Dear President Putin, you are in a position to bring this vision to life today with just the stroke of a pen. The time has come.”
