Military Jet Crashes in Malaysia

Kokcha News Agency*– A Malaysian Air Force F/A-18D Hornet fighter jet crashed shortly after takeoff in Kuantan, Pahang state. The incident occurred around 9:05 PM local time as the jet took off from Sultan Ahmad Shah Airport.
According to a statement from the Royal Malaysian Air Force, the jet caught fire soon after takeoff. While details of the crash were not provided, an investigation has been launched to determine the cause.
Malaysian newspaper *The Star* reported that videos shared on social media showed the jet engulfed in flames. Meanwhile, Bernama news agency stated that the pilots managed to eject safely using the aircraft’s ejection system.
