Russia Advances in Ukraine; Trump Warns of Severe Sanctions

Kokcha News Agency – Russia has announced that its forces have seized control of the villages of Serednie and Kelban-Bik in eastern Ukraine, a strategic advance that Moscow claims could pave the way for capturing the key city of Kostiantynivka.

Meanwhile, former U.S. President Donald Trump has once again threatened Russia with extensive sanctions and tariffs, stating that he will make a “major” decision regarding the future of the Ukraine war within the next two weeks.

Despite these tensions, Russian President Vladimir Putin has expressed optimism about the potential for improved relations between Moscow and Washington under a Trump presidency. Putin described their recent meeting in Alaska as “meaningful and promising.”

Adding to the crisis, concerns over the security of Ukraine’s nuclear power plants and the emergence of video evidence showing direct involvement of North Korean troops in the conflict have introduced new dimensions to the ongoing war.
