6.3 Magnitude Earthquake Strikes Off Russia’s Kuril Islands

Kokcha News Agency: The German Research Centre for Geosciences (GFZ) has reported that a 6.3 magnitude earthquake hit off the coast of Russia’s Kuril Islands. The quake occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers.

This comes just a month after an 8.8 magnitude earthquake struck Russia’s Kamchatka Peninsula.
