President Erdoğan: Turkey is the Guarantor of Peace and Security in the Region

Kokcha News Agency: President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan delivered a speech at the 954th Anniversary Celebration of the Malazgirt Victory in the Malazgirt National Park. In his address, Erdoğan highlighted Turkey’s role as a beacon of hope for the oppressed and its commitment to regional peace and security.

Erdoğan began by sending his greetings to all 86 million citizens across Turkey’s 81 provinces, from Hakkari to Edirne and Muğla to Kars. He also expressed solidarity with the people of Gaza and Palestine, who are enduring Israel’s brutal attacks.

“We are in Malazgirt on the 954th anniversary of this exceptional victory,” Erdoğan said, thanking the crowd for filling the square. He paid tribute to Sultan Alparslan and the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the homeland, flag, nation, and ummah (Muslim community) since the early days of the conquest.

Erdoğan emphasized that Turkey has become a country that not only protects its own citizens but also serves as a refuge for the oppressed and vulnerable. “Our country and government have never left our Gazan brothers and sisters alone,” he said, noting Turkey’s efforts to defend Gaza’s rights through diplomacy, international meetings, and over 102,000 tons of aid.

“We are moving forward without bending, bowing, or fearing anyone,” Erdoğan declared. He added that the atmosphere of hope created by the nation’s support is unstoppable, and no one can stand in its way.

Erdoğan also addressed Turkey’s fight against terrorism, stating that significant progress has been made in a short time to dismantle the walls of discord. He warned that attacks and sabotage attempts would increase but expressed confidence that they would fail.

“Turkey is the guarantor of peace and security in the region,” Erdoğan asserted. He stressed that Turkey is also the protector of the Kurds’ safety and called for permanent peace and diplomatic solutions to regional problems.

Erdoğan concluded by urging all citizens to support the process of building a “Turkey Century” and a “Terror-Free Turkey,” singing songs of brotherhood and standing against terrorism, bloodshed, and division.
