Former Afghan President Hamid Karzai Condemns Pakistan’s Airstrikes in Khost and Nangarhar

Former Afghan President Hamid Karzai has strongly condemned Pakistan’s airstrikes in the provinces of Khost and Nangarhar, which resulted in the martyrdom of several women and children. Karzai described the attacks as a violation of Afghanistan’s sovereignty, international norms, and the principles of good neighborliness.

Kokcha News Agency: In a scathing statement, former Afghan President Hamid Karzai condemned the recent airstrikes carried out by Pakistan in the provinces of Khost and Nangarhar, which led to the tragic deaths of numerous women and children. Karzai expressed his deep condolences and solidarity with the families of the victims, calling the attacks a blatant violation of Afghanistan’s sovereignty and international law.

Karzai emphasized that Pakistan is grappling with the consequences of its flawed policies in the region and warned that violating Afghanistan’s sovereignty and attacking its people will not help Pakistan escape these consequences. He urged Pakistan to adopt a civilized approach in its relations with Afghanistan, stressing the importance of respecting neighborly rights and international regulations.

The former president highlighted that Pakistan’s best interests lie in fostering peaceful and respectful relations with Afghanistan, rather than resorting to aggression. He called on Pakistan to seriously adhere to international laws and the principles of good neighborliness to ensure stability and peace in the region.
